The V series by Vivo is a mid-range series that offers smartphones with attractive features but at an economical price range. The latest Vivo V25 Pro is an upgrade over the Vivo V23 Pro. Vivo has made some changes in the design as well as introduced a bigger battery and some new features.
This phone is available in two different variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM. The Vivo mobile price of the 8GB + 128GB variant is around INR 35,999 and the price of the 128GB + 256GB variant is around INR 43,999.

Design and Build Quality:
The Vivo V25 pro is available in two different color options – Pure Black and Sailing Blue. Vivo has introduced a new type of design in this phone. The color of the sailing blue variant changes from a lighter shade to a darker shade when light falls on it.
The color-changing rear panel is unique and will definitely attract your attention. The phone weighs around 190 grams and has a thickness of 8.62mm. Though the phone comes with a similar design to Vivo V23 Pro, it is a bit heavier as well as thicker.
The phone comes with a polycarbonate mid-frame, along with a glass-covered panel at the back as well as at the front. The back glass gets a rough texture, which does not look as attractive as the matt glass of Samsung or OnePlus mobiles but it offers great grip.
Moreover, it is resistant to fingerprint marks and scratches. However, the sides of the mid-frame are made of plastic. The sides and the edges are curved and the back glass seamlessly continues into the side frame.
Vivo has given an extremely premium look to this smartphone, with a curved glass front. Though Vivo has not specified the brand, they have reportedly used Schott glass protection over the screen. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which works pretty smoothly.
However, Vivo V25 Pro does not get any IP rating for dust or water resistance. You will find a thin and uniform bezel at all sides, which gets curved on the left and right sides and blends with the mid-frame. Altogether, the curved edges, the thin curved bezels, and the curved glass front give a premium look to this phone.
Just like V23 Pro, this phone also gets a rectangular metallic camera module at the top left corner of the back of the phone. However, in V25 Pro, a glass inset has been used inside the camera module. It accommodates a triple camera setup along with an LED flash. Apart from the camera module, there is the Vivo branding at the back.
The front camera is in the form of a punch hole at the center. At the bottom of the phone, you will get the sim card tray, a type C USB port, a microphone, and the speaker grille. The headphone jack and expandable memory slot are missing. On the right side of the phone, you will get the volume keys and the power button.
Display and Audio Quality:
The Vivo V25 Pro features a 6.56-inch screen, having a screen resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels (Full HD+). The display type is AMOLED and the GPU used is Mali G77. The refresh rate is 120Hz. There are three color modes – Standard, Professional, and Bright. The peak brightness of 698 nits is decent in bright sunshine.
This phone supports HDR content, which will give you an extraordinary experience while watching movies on different OTT platforms. The phone gets only one speaker at the bottom. The sound quality is loud but it becomes a bit unclear at high volumes.
Performance:
The Vivo V25 Pro is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, which is an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 3GHz. The processor is quite good for multitasking and is fast. Though it is not ideal for gaming, the gaming experience will be satisfactory. The phone does not get overheated while playing games.
The phone runs on Funtouch OS 12 interface, which is based on Android 12. The interface is clean, with lots of customization options. However, there are several pre-installed apps, which is not expected from a phone of this price range.
Camera:
Vivo V25 Pro comes with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro lens. The front camera is 32MP. Both cameras work extraordinarily well during daylight. The night photography experience is average.
Battery:
The Vivo V25 Pro gets a 4830mAh battery. It supports 80W fast charging. It takes around an hour to fully charge the phone.
